Art Institute Vs Le Cordon Bleu
Le Cordon Bleu vs. The Art Institutes?
I’m planning on going to college for baking, and can’t decide which one to go to. I know Le Cordon Bleu is much more recognized, but does it really make a difference in the long run, i.e. getting a career, recognition, etc?
hi,
i attended Le cordon bleu for about 6 months in the TC, MN and ended up dropping out. I think it was way over priced for what you got. The total Baking and Pastry program is about 40000 for the whole program, when i went there. In classes you always did all your baking in pairs, and sometimes you didnt even have a mixer to use because there wasnt enough for everybody.. I have looked at the arts institute and i think that whenever i have time to go back i might be more interested in that.. I have heard that it’s a little bit cheaper compared to Le cordon bleu.. alot of the teachers from le cordon bleu went to the arts institute for schooling too. So i think whatever school you choose, they will help you find a great career.
