What is there to do in Dayton, Ohio? What about Fairborn, OH?
This weekend (Oct. 6 & 7) we will be going to Dayton to visit the National Museum of the United States Air Force. We will be staying in a hotel in Fairborn, OH. I might go see the Dayton Art Institute, as they are doing an Oktoberfest. (I am just looking for ideas. I appreciate Civil War and WWI/WWII history.)
Anything else I should try to see? What about someplace to go eat? I am looking for a German or Irish restauraunt, preferably with a band playing matching Irish or German music. (Web site and band times are a plus!) A decent BBQ restauraunt that hopefully does BBQ with a regional twist would be appreciated also.

You’ll like the AF Museum. The Octoberfest at DAI is a BIG event around here. You may also enjoy the Renaissance Festival (www.renfest.com). It’s about 1/2 hr. drive from Dayton and wraps up this weekend.
