Where would the best place to live be?
It would be helpful if you knew the chicagoland area very very well. I am going to go to UIC next year and my friend is going to Ai (Art Institute). We want to find a room in a house to rent out from a private owner, or an apartment. I would like to live in a generally safe area, with things to do around it, cheap! (very important), and it also should be convenient for us to travel to our two different schools (preferably near a cta stop). Can someone give me recommendations on where to live? My friend told me logan square of the blue line would be good, but she wants to be off the brown line on the armitage stop. Suggestions?
This might sound crazy but living in a village or in the country side is where i think the best place to live. If you live there you can breathe fresh air and live with animals. Try it you will love it.
